Lithium Industry to Oversupply through 2013

TRU Group Inc., which is composed of lithium consultants, declared that its latest view for the presentation at the IM Lithium Supply and Markets Conference Santiago 2009 will deduce that the industry will not be affected by the global recession and will oversupply this year 2009 up to 2013.
Though the world use of lithium will decline quickly by at least 6% this year 2009, the demand will surely bounce back any time soon because consumers are now into purchasing and using of laptops or cell phones that has lithium batteries.
Today, new and large usage of lithium will begin and will have a major influence on demand within five years. Lithium use is now extended in electric vehicle batteries and lithium alloys on aircrafts.
